Here's a great idea arts and crafts idea that we received from Wendy Jackson, one of our readers. I always save puzzle pieces that no longer made up a whole puzzle and I was glad to get a great idea on how to use them. I tried this idea with my kids and it was a big hit.
Thanks Wendy!
Appropriate for Ages: Three and Up
Time Needed: Ten Minutes
What You'll Need:
- Puzzle Pieces (To quote Wendy "works great with that brand new puzzle that the dog chewed up one piece to.")
- Glue
- Corkboard or a picture that your child drew.
What to Do:
Take glue and put it around the border of a corkboard or a picture drawn by your child. You can do this either with a small glue container or put a little bit of glue into a cup and have your child "paint" the glue around the edges.
Glue puzzle pieces around the border of the corkboard or picture.
Let it dry and hang it up.
